A BURNING DESIRE
When two join together
as man and wife,
There`s a burning desire
for love of life.
If this burning desire stays
in their heart,
Come what may,
they will never part.
I know this
because I`ve met a few.
Every time I saw them
together, I knew.
He always opened her car door.
He did this for her and more.
Eternal love is being courteous
to the one you love.
Your spouse is a blessing
from God above.
It takes trust and commitment
for love to flourish.
It is romance
you should always nourish.
Marriage is not 50/50 percent.
Both man and wife
must give 100 percent.
It`s not always easy.
Sometimes it`s rough.
You must be tough.
This flesh gets wrinkled and old.
Inward beauty is solid as gold.
Inward beauty keeps romance
in hearts forever.
This endless love
is worth all the endeavor.
