Get Rid Of The Advertisements

The Best

Coming home from work
always with the trials of
his patients good and bad
helping them by caring

Waiting at the table only
a few years since my
fall from grace loving a
kind smile seeing the face

Hours seem like seconds
as the cuckoo clock makes
its sound again my father
has brought me peace

A drink or two from the
supermarket a toy for the
dog and lots of goodies
in a list of joys

Well my son lets drink
to the wonders of life and
here is yours a 'Scrumpy
Jack' cider “The Best”

Only the best is good
enough for my son and
it was always the best and
he played the clown well

My father was an alcoholic,
and we used to drink before
and after I became ill always
at the same table-The Best
