Hello World! it's me.. I'm over here...Here in the darkness
with all the other unwanted babies.. Here in the land
of the Never Born at the tender age of eleven weeks
Yes world... I'm one of those innocents that some momma
didn't want ..They call us aborted .. another way of saying
thrown away..
Now my would be momma for instance.. she was a young girl
fond of partying and boys.. it didn't take many nights out
with the crowd for her to get pregnant.. but she felt having me
might mess up her good times. She just found herself one of those
guys who claimed to be a doctor and quick as a wink the deed
was done... All it took was a painless infusion of salt water to send me
tumbling out of my comfy home and down the nearest drain.
That how I ended up here in Never land..
Too bad that she'll never know how pretty I was going to be.
Big blue eyes and crisp curly dark hair just like my daddy
who never even knew of my existence.
I think that's a real shame.. I was supposed to be
one of the smart ones.. You know... the kind that makes
straight A's all the way through school and becomes
a real good contributing member of the community
I could have been a someone's best friend... or sister..
a proud momma and a loving grandma.. I like
to think I would have been all of them ... but now ..
Oh well, it's their loss.. for all we know I
could have made a difference..I just might have
been destined to change the world...
If only they had let me live!!
Isn't it sad that now we're never going to find out.
