I feel her love each spring

When I was a child my grandma and I planted a lilac tree
She was so kind and loving and meant the world to me

In the good old days I remember having so much fun
Together her and I basking and enjoying together the sun

In springtime we always planted and picked lilacs so blue
Each spring I still feel her with us saying I always love you

Each year the lilacs blossom that we planted together beautifully
As I give thanks and say a prayer after the day today is done
As I look up and it is your love that always sees me through

The good old days
