Awakens A Morning Glory

One fine Spring morn
At the break of dawn
A tiny bright sprout
Appears with a yawn

Vivid in brilliant green
As it seeks maturity
Onward, upward it goes
Reaching for glory

Swirling and twirling
Seeking to adhere
Sleek tendrils grasp
Anything near

Heart shaped leaves
They form and grow
Higher and higher
Ever silent they go

Traveling along
A white picket fence
Steadfast it's plight
In budding abundance

When the buds bloom
A woman witnessed
Through her window
Nature at it's best

As if on command
Showing off their beauty
Pretty flowers unfurl
For her to see

The woman was thrilled
Where once nothing grew
Awakens a morning glory
Of heavenly blue

* God is so awesome *
