Get Rid Of The Advertisements

WINDOW OF VEILS

I’ve known You Lord for such a long time
But there have been valleys and mountains to climb

There have been alleys and roads made of steal
Yet during those years I learned how to feel

There have been blue skies and dark clouds too
But walking through them I always knew

That You held my hand and cradled my head
As I opened my eyes I could see that You led

During my life looking through veiled glass
You always held me, even when I’d run fast

Inside of flowers and enormous trees
I learned to see You and finally felt free

And I no longer watch from a window of veils
Nor travel a path with so many trails

I hear Your whisper so sweet in my ear
And see Your love now, much “brighter and clear”

Written for Pete's challenge, 'Brighter and Clear'.
