Oh Beauteous Sun
The day is done, sun's going down
Suddenly I find myself wondering
How many more of these will I see
I've been amazingly lucky thus far
My Lord, He has been so good to me
Breathtaking is a vivid sunrise
But sunsets have majestic beauty
Witnessing one, you will yearn for more
They bring to heart all that is good
And a peace within to your very core
From every sunup to every sundown
Bathed in His love and warm sunshine
Blessed in knowing when day is nigh
We can slumber with our minds at ease
Tomorrow, again, the sun shall rise
New beginnings can even be found
In the embrace of a brilliant sunset
It magically encourages lovers to kiss
That moment would remain theirs forever
To hold in their hearts and always cherish
Oh beauteous sun, rest your guiding light
So that we may see yet another day
Rejuvenate your warmth to thwart the chill
We seek such comfort in your readiness
As each day unfolds, it shall be His will
