Get Rid Of The Advertisements

MY TENDER HEART

Maybe it was yesterday that he held me
Maybe it was years ago since he touched me
But he will forever linger on my lips
And touch the tender parts of my heart

Years have passed and still I miss him
Days just float through and yet I feel him
Inside my soul
Where no one else has ever been

I can see his face upon my pillow
And sense his body right beside me
Yet I know he is no longer on this earth
But still,
He lives within the walls of my world

People come and go across my life
But no one has enriched it like he did
Dawn breaks over our home
And dusk lays its carpet at my feet

But still, he will forever own my heart
