She Cries

Friendship is a cherished gift,
Something that should be respected,
But when one choses to break the trust,
The lies leave you feeling rejected,
Betrayal is a repugnant thing,
When a confidence is lost forever,
Pain radiates throughout the heart,
When bonds we chose to sever,
She was confident that they loved her,
It was always there in their eyes,
But, today she lost her dearest friends,
All alone tonight; she cries.
