Sunset In July

Radiance graces the evening sky.
Colors borrowed from the rainbow.
With eyes of tenderness,
I see in this glorious sunset, a mystic glow.

Fuchsia, gold, lavender and blue.
Palest Yellows, and aquamarine
Crayola colors on the horizon,
Reflecting in the water, a mesmerizing scene.

Like in an enchanted dream,
We watch the colors fade away to black velvet
As tiny silver stars take their place.
Enter a lovers moon, we'll have no regret.

The quietness of the evening
Is beautiful and refreshing, not a stir
Gentle breezes echo the rhythm of our heartbeats.
You hold me in your arms and whisper,

Sweetest dreams, I kiss you softly and sigh.
We've just witnessed the loveliest sunset in July.

Sunset in July
Enchanted dream
Quietness
Beautiful and refreshing
Gentle breezes
With eyes of tenderness
Sweetest dreams.
