Soft Reflections
Poets are
such delicate creatures
who easily get their noses out of joint.
When commenting
on their poem’s features
one must be careful while staying on point.
There have
been times of feelings hurt
by the results of honest discourse.
One must find
a detour by which to skirt
genuine criticality, lest it cause remorse.
Each comment
I format is tailored, so
the writer knows the message was received.
Being a
writer myself I know you know
I’ve a deep appreciation for what’s conceived.
Poets are
