Get Rid Of The Advertisements

A letter I’m Going To Write.

As I sit here tonight
A letter I’m going to write

And send it to the Pulaski County jail
I’ll write sorry but from me there will be no bail

I love you all
As for each one of you upon the Lords name I call

Sorry but you do a crime
You have to pay the time

I know you can be better but you follow the world it seems
Gee you are just a young teen

Not a child but growing up
Yes life can be tough

You know to do better
I think of the things you wanted to be as I write this letter

Stop the bad things you do
No matter how bad I still love and pray for each of you

I pray each night each day
For you to see the right way

My heart gets broken when I hear of you being in jail
I’ll write sorry but from me there will be no bail

You need to take the Lord in your heart
And from your life of sin pull apart

The Lord forgives us all
Some day you will learn as you will fall

The things you said as a younger child oh I remember
Now you still sit in jail come this September

I don’t care about you if I don’t help is what you think
Well I care and I love you so true as I dip my pen in my ink

We have to show tough love at times
I hope you understand and see my love through the thin lines

As I sit here tonight
A letter I’m going to write

And send it to the Pulaski County jail
I’ll write sorry but from me there will be no bail.
