Get Rid Of The Advertisements

My Daddy And Me

When I was just a girl
My fondest memory
Was playing with my daddy
And getting bounced on his knee
He laughed when I was happy
And he cried when I was sad
And it hurt him more than I
Every time I made him mad

Now my Daddy is the child
Alzheimer's took his mind
We haven't played in years
Ever since his health declined
If I could go back in time
I'd climb back up on his knee
And ride into the sunset
Just my daddy and me
