Christmas In the USA
In the USA people celebrate Christmas many ways
It begins early and is celebrated for many days
Trees are trimmed, lights are lite, food is cooked
Friends and family come to visit, reservations booked
Santa Clause is part of the celebration with tales told
About reindeer flying, and elves working where it's cold
Santa comes down chimneys to good girls and boys
Leaving them many treats and all kinds of toys
A bit bizarre we all agree, but gifts are given with love
We believe Christmas was when God showed love from above
He gave His son Jesus because He loved the world so much
So forever we can know His guiding and directing touch
There are many different beliefs in our country today
Everyone can worship and celebrate in their own way
However you choose to celebrate lets all hope and pray
We can live in harmony and feel connected on Christmas day
