Connected Hearts
He's standing off in the distance now,
knowing he can't reach her heart.
Too many tears he has cried before,
so long they have been apart.
Their spirits connected from the start,
their hearts soon became as one.
United in a special unique sweet way,
sharing love and having fun.
It seemed as tho it was meant to be,
a delightful bit of joy for each other.
Their lives filled with God's embrace,
with a true friendship like no other.
Time was up for them much to soon,
God called her away one lonely day.
He remains in this world without her,
to strengthen his faith along the way.
