A Christmas Card.
A man was looking at beautiful Christmas card for his wife
As they had been married many years and have a happy life
As he read a few then put them back on the shelf
Then he though to his self
He remembered a little boy looking at Christmas cards
Knew his mother would hang his first on the wall
He saw a young little girl looking at him thought oh she is looking at me
He said to her these Christmas cards are pretty as can be
She said they don’t make Hallmark cards for families like mine
Then as his thoughts went back in time
He knew what she meant the day he asked her to be his wife
She said oh yes but please don’t abuse me, I’ve been abused all my life.
