Leaning Into Life
 

 



That guy over there took a stand.
He thought carefully as he planned.

Keep finish lines within purview.

Practice, practice, tested mantra,
searching tenets, his exemplar.

Lots and lots of gristle to chew.

His head’s not bowed, shoulders erect,
never a usual suspect.

For Heaven’s sake, give him his due.
