SPIRIT OF GIVING
The presence
of God fits down the chimney.
God came bearing
the greatest gift of all.
Jesus is the atonement
for our iniquity.
He is a free gift
for all who answers His call.
A cloud of God`s love
filled Gods House.
The cloud fits down the chimney.
But even if we have no chimney,
God`s presence
is here for you and me.
Santa may be a myth,
or make believe,
But the spirit of giving
is for us to receive.
Long ago
there was a Saint Nicholas
who knew the spirit of giving.
Saint Nicholas is dead,
but his spirit is still living.
Who do you think
Santa got his spirit from?
It came from Christ:
God`s only begotten Son.
