Starlite and Friends
There is a lot to be thankful for
Our living is to be blessed once more
With a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
To the family at starlite the poets are so dear
Watching the wind whisper in the cold winter breeze
I am reading a poem that touches my heart you'll see
There are wonders and dreams we hold up above
Always hope and peace in His wings of love
In faith to believe Our Lord will heal
To answer each prayer from the heart
In this Yuletide season to what life will bring
The heavenly angels sing with delight
Love hold the thought and the wishes with prayer
Holding a candle in the dark is there despair
The Lord will guide us through this walk of life
We savor these moment as starlite survive
On New Years Day I will see family and friends
Eating black eyed peas, cornbread and hog jowl
Its a family tradition that been passed down true the years
Come everyone to my house with spirit to watch the crystal fall
