Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Tumbleweed Lacuna

Once the soil is loosened

by the heat-cracks of a blazing sun…

The shrub becomes a tumble-weed,

And the tumble has begun

Rolling across highways of

Asphalt dreams, and travel-schemes

Searching for that face in the crowd

My journey is far beyond this reach

Guessing destinations are not allowed

Wrapped within this tumbling ball

Your love remains intact

Preceded always by your fading smile

And dreams we can’t retract

This tumble-weed contains my soul

Its actions much like mine

Similar to a symphony of life

That flows from line to line

Weathered and worn inside His word

Still waters beckon me there

Beyond the limits of what you've heard

His glory is beyond compare

There are treasures we cannot see

For they wait on a distant shore

The tumble-weed is just like me

Rolling up to Heavens door

And the knocking has begun..

Stuck in the mean time
This song is ours
