Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Auld Lang Syne

On New Year's Day, I will reflect once more,
upon the years I've spent and those to come;
as to the future we cannot be sure,
today is what we have, my rule-of-thumb.
We can but plan to do our utter best,
to cause no harm; obey the Golden Rule;
not focus on lining our feathered nest.
Ill deeds are known...who thinks not is a fool.
Imperfect, I must ask God to assist,
experience allows me know I'm weak.
The old year flies and, with ironic twist,
the new begins...bright fireworks, nothing meek.
What e'er it brings I'll be equipped to cope
as faith in Christ the King permits me hope!

Shakespearean Sonnet

My Phrase:
On New Year's Day, I will reflect once more
