Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Inside Me
I wish to make a poem for you today
But the rain, seems unceasing,
Washes away my thoughts
And I am left with mere wishes...
Wish the sun comes up like magic
And paints the sky with your name
And a picture of you, in yellow..
Ahhh.. I see those lonely eyes still
A look, so withdrawn; concealing...
Time might grant us the second chance, who knows?
But perhaps, too late...
Rainbows had been shattered,
Dreams had been wasted,
Dreamers pretended..
We’re but ephemeral geniuses
Caught in our own web of lies
And cotton candy promises.....
The seemingly unceasing rain
Slowly stops
But inside me
I am but a dreamer still;
Also, a great pretender!
