Soul Mates Are We

Soul mates we were meant to be,
long long time ago we met.
Fate gave us a helping hand,
we are together still yet.

Years have come and gone so fast,
flew by like a passing jet.
Has been lots of ups and downs,
no reason for us to fret.

We have stuck together tight,
met all problems that beset.
Overcame all obstacles,
also each and every threat.

Together we passed the test
a blessed life we won't forget.
We understood the gamble,
when marriage is like roulette.

Until the sun sets for us,
we become life's silhouette.
Gathering on other side
we'll give each other rosette.
