I Gave You My Heart

Missing the physical side of love, we enjoyed so much,
Remembering the thrill of your loving sensual touch.
Love has met a change in one sense of the word,
Yet love of the heart still can be felt and heard.

Through the years and time, love drifts on and on,
Caressing the memories of the past foregone.
In thoughts it seems like only was yesterday,
When passion ruled our life in loves sweet way.

Time takes it's toil on everyone's body and soul,
Masking it's efforts to disguise the missing part
Yet, we stuck together through thick and thin
Because I said, 'I give you my heart.'
