Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Tiny House
I lay in silence
And wonder how it could be
That my world once existed
without you.
Seems like a lifetime ago
Before I knew anything
At all.

Days and weeks pass by
Children are born
Money comes
And money goes.
As laughter fills
This tiny house.

Certain moments linger
While others race by.
The sweet smell of dinner
Slips through the cracks….
Of this tiny house.

The lights dim
As the days turn to night.
Summer becomes fall
Years pass by
In an instant

Babies grow into adults
Shades of brown become shades of grey.
The end seems closer
Than the beginning.

A finger snaps
And it’s all gone.
As we succumb to the night
I smile gently…..
In our tiny house.
