I would like to go on a Spring vacation with you dear.
In the mountains, it`s the best time of the year.
It`s warm enough to not have to wear a heavy coat.
For a poem, I can jot down every note.
I can write about us as we enjoy every scene.
It will be more beautiful as we share what we`ve seen.
We can take a stroll on nature`s trail.
We can view a waterfall as we sit a spell.
We can enjoy the trickling sounds of the creek.
Your soft voice saying, ''I love you,'' sounds so sweet.
Every once and awhile we see a squirrel scamper by.
We look up in the sky as we hear an eagle cry.
When evening draws this day to a close,
We sit on the patio before warming our toes.
We eat outside as the sun is going down.
It taste better just as I slip off your night gown.
This is how it`s supposed to be on our honeymoon.
This is only a dream, but I hope it comes true soon.
I would love to go on a spring vacation with you.
Maybe some day this dream will come true.
