pimps and hookers
sinking sidewalk crushed into the consciousness
the scenic whitewashed into a dazed struggle for coherence
my chainlink mentality
the ugly middle sister caught winking at the camera eye
and i never lost my landscape willingly
it took eminent domain and a luxury payroll
sharpened soul remembered as an ice water slap
complexity was never my strong suit
maybe it wasn't my fight
but the unholstered revolver and wicked bulldozer grin
turn the frown rightside down and the skin left on teeth
found a shelf life in a hurry
