VEXED

Was I kidding ~ Not admitting to the truth.
I sat there believing the lies you fed to me
with a tiny spoon. On this melancholy afternoon
Where the full moon awaits for the darkness.

As cold as a stone ~I was alone.
Invisible I became...But I still dwelled
In the dark corners of your mind.
You covered me in moss
Held up my Celtic cross and said...
'DO YOU BELIEVE!'

Tis a mere pity ~That in a city of light
You live in the darkness ~of my mind,
Confined...To a space between
What is and What is not.

You got ~ Only what I could not give.
Relive my life in strife ~In solitude you
will become apart of my beating heart.
Awaken to my every need~ shall
You succeed~ only then will
I take you as my servant.

Otherwise you are on your own
To face life's uncertainty...
Alone in a world of brutality.
In reality you just won't fit in
Within the shams of your life.

In bed asleep will you creep
Through the confines of my mind
Galloping upon your horse
Undefined where you keep
A small piece of time.

Time alone won't save you ~You must find the door
That will awake you...Explore every floor
Open every drawer between the time
You were born.

Take off the frown that is painted
Upon your face ~ Come now
I will take you to that place.
An Embrace~ a tender kiss
will erase this spell that binds you.

And as rain came crashing down
She awoke ~ Looking all around
She realizes her gown is soaking wet.
Looking up at the sky she see's his
silhouette in a cloud ~ She talks
to herself out loud... 'Was this a dream
or part of my future?'

You can never tell in a drug induced sleep
If what you sow is what you reap.
