As I Dwell
I think of You when I’m awake
As I pick up your Book
The words You tell my every day
When I take time to look
I think of You when I lie down
As silence fills my home
And ink spills out onto a page
And falls into a poem
I think of You when I laugh
And the smile you gave to me
When I finally let You in my life
Setting this captive free
I think of You when I cry
My pillow filled with tears
And feel myself beneath Your wing
And know I need not fear
I think of You when sunsets comes
Enclosing me at night
And rest in peace inside Your love
As I dwell in Your light
