SOMEWHERE BETWEEN THE PAGES
Somewhere between the pages of time
A poet was born with inspiration to rhyme.
But for most of us who write day and night,
Something happened that caused us to write.
Or we see a reason for changes in sight.
Poetry speaks of life, death, love and hate.
We have to know the feeling to appreciate.
Some turns us off, some turns us on.
Some messages we read we make our own.
Some times a poem can soothe your soul.
Other times a poem can cause you to scroll.
Something written between pages of poetry,
The readers will read a little bit of past history.
To you, the reader, that may be a mystery.
