Seasons of Love

When the moon shadows each awaking star

I listen while you strum your guitar

Aggressively you strike each chord

Music becomes my lyrical reward

During the quiet of Winter

When the sky is filled with tears

I will remember yesteryears

How you held me tight

Each and every night

During the enlightenment of Spring

When you strum and sing to me

You hit every key so perfectly

There is no place I would rather be

Than lying here in your arms you see

During the sultry nights of Summer

When the leaves turn brown and gold

To each other we still like to hold

Confessing love so deep and true

From you to me and me to you

During the transition of Autumn

When all the seasons come and go

Our love stays strong and it's on show

So for us time stands quite still

Enjoying our lives we take our fill

During the seasons of love
