Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Michael

We gather strength from years gone by
as we sift through the photos
talking of good times
reliving the memories
and preparing our final goodbye

Our tears are not for you, but for ourselves
as we will be missing you so
it's hard to let go
even knowing
we'll be reunited one day

You and grandpa will have to help us
help us to be strong
to continue on

We long to hold you one more time
to kiss your cheek
to stop the time

The fishn's good way up there
you and grandpa have some fun
we know he's been waiting for you
his fishing buddy, his grandson

dedicated to my grandson who was killed 9 years ago today
one week after his 15th birthday
Our Pastor read this at his service
Rest in Peace Michael
