Longing For Freedom
My SAVIOUR, my heart is heavy with a burden
One that I find for me, seems too much to bear
I must now, lay it down before YOU....
Trusting in YOUR great power and loving care.
Loneliness and grief, brought me to this place
I had so longed for peace and continment again
I find now in a relationship, from loneliness, I am set free
Yet, now I am walking on a road, I know not pleaseing to THEE
I feel LORD, I can't go back to the place I was
It would seem to me, just too much to bear......
Torn between my feelings and the command of THEE
My LORD I know, only YOU can ever set me free.
Desiring to be one, that pleases YOU
Is the cry, within my soul and heart......
Because, my dear Blessed SAVIOUR
Never do I want to be, from YOU apart.
Give me YOUR strenght, dearest SAVIOUR
I am so weak, daily I fail to do the right thing
Only YOU my LORD, can this burden remove
And again, YOUR special peace, to this troubled heart bring.
