Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Daddy!!!

Something underneath my blanket
belongs not in my bed.
I felt it scuttle o'er my toes
and scalp crawled off my head.

A gasp of horror hit the air,
my mouth totally agape,
nerves all shot to pieces,
heart in a shaky shape.

Should I throw the covers off?
What if it's the venomous kind?
What if a whole nest of red-back spiders
is gonna be what I find?

Oh Daddy! Come and rescue me;
you're so strong and unafraid.
But me? I'm chicken with creepy things
...just look at the puddle I made!
