Limitations

Profanity, a sign of lacking courage,
is assault upon ears, emotion, sense,
the best defence of one who lacks decorum;
effort absent, ignorance immense.
Of course, the very best a man can offer,
a curse invoked by one who's no sane thought,
feeble thinking makes but feebler output,
mind in turmoil, knows not what he ought.
To explode so angrily a moment,
express oneself the limits of one's brain
itself must be a litmus indicator,
forcefully uttered insults cannot inflict pain.
