Get Rid Of The Advertisements

I'd Like to Answer

How i wish we could sit under same moon!
I take sad comfort in knowing that,
Unless it's you on the same blanket as i,
And we write the songs we think,
I'll never be fully content.

Every plan i've ever made turned from clarity,
Into blurry glows.
My life has been moment after moment,
Of chasing some light.
I'm always one step behind, thinking,
I'll hold it.
I've never held it.

And i'm not sure I ever will-
We've slit the throat of fate.
