Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Wish We Had a Garden
I want candlelight and quiet dinners and a puppy with you-
adorable pupppy eyelashes.
A hidden, vibrant garden that grows and grows-
our dream of living off the land.
I'd love to be a farmer and have a farmer's wife,
but i reckon i could be a man of the sea,
seeing as how i drift around already,
further from a stable, solid ground,
i used to think i needed roots in.
When folks ask me where i'm from,
I tell them from the South,
because my grandparents told me home,
is not a place to claim,
but a sweet thing built together,
between the space of man and woman's ribs.
