Is written in the stars tonight,
While the spirit of the wind

Far beyond the darkness
Into the beauty of moons' light.
Passionate purple
Within each star,
Belies tender moments
Felt from afar.
It is out of the moments of silence
That such tenderness came,
And from heavens soft whispers

Butterflies dance like tiny ballerinas

Filling my heart with the sweetest of memories.

A bit of tears escape my eyes,
As I remember the golden fields of summer
And the sweet lilies of spring,
So full of beauty and grace they were
And sharing them with you, mom,
Meant absolutely everything!

My mother and my friend,
For in my eyes you are forever beautiful
And I long to be held in your loving arms again.
Then, with the lilacs' soft touch you surprise me
In my watercolor dreams tonight,
And gentle as a breeze you kiss my cheek
Holding me close to you--
Close, in your loving arms till morning light.
When I awake you are kissing me softly
So softly on my cheek goodbye,
The tears well up inside my eyes
But I do not wish to cry.
You stroke my hair as you hold me close,
I can feel your essence mingle with my own,
And you tell me, 'My darling daughter',
'I love you and am so proud of you
And promise, that beneath my wing,
You will never walk alone.'
Those are your parting words to me
As the wind carries you away,
Far beyond the sun coming up over the horizon
Leaving me feeling loved and blessed
As I look forward to this brand new day!
I am smiling now as I sit here on this sofa,
While drinking my morning tea,
Smiling, because I realize, that of all the wonderful things
That God could have given me,
Was to place me in your loving arms again
And fill my heart with this precious memory!
