Josh Turned Eight

It's simply hard to believe
That Joshua just turned eight
We had a big ol’ party
And it was really great,
He got a pretty blue helmet
To match his brand new bike
Seems not that long ago
He'd just mastered his trike,
It’s so true that time flies
When you're having fun
But gray hair will not keep me
From riding bikes with my son,
And before you know it
He'll be begging 'please'
I have a hot date tonight, dad
And I'll give up my keys.
