Things I Have Come to Expect in Life

There are things I have come to expect in this life
Numbering many, some are good, some not so nice
The majority of these things I didn't learn 'til I was grown
Like 'be careful of your actions, as you'll reap what is sown'
To be honest in everything that we may say or do
Lies and deceit boggle the mind while honesty is a virtue
We shouldn't label people based on what others may say
One could miss out on someone special doing things that way
And it matters not to most how you choose to live your life
But it will, to you, if you choose to live it without Christ
