Ethereal Beauty
I step outside into the cool night
And breathe in the fresh sweet air.
Looking up I see the magnificent sky -
Midnight black.
Tiny dots of light shimmering so beautifully
Each one twinkling magically
Together forming a brilliant display.
A bright crescent moon shining accentuates the beautiful scene.
I am enchanted by the loveliness of it all.
I hear the crickets chirping in the background
And the leaves rustling in the wind
I can feel the slight breeze caressing my cheeks
And ruffling my hair.
They stimulate my senses
And I'm overwhelmed by the beauty of it all.
But everything else pales in comparison
To the gorgeous masterpiece
Of the awesome celestial display
In the dark midnight sky
