Poetry by Keats

Poetry by Keats imbues my soul,
like coffee stirred by a rounded teaspoon

like a wanton stare that choreographs
my breathing in and breathing out

like an infant suckling a mother’s breast
that rocks me to a melodious tune,
that turns the tide upon the sea
that lulls me deep,
like a narrow path in a forest green

like the rem of sleep in a childhood dream
