Strange Weather
Its hot, its hot, its bloody hot
Wish it was cool but it is not!
The weather is barmy; it’s up the creek
Been like it now for week after week.
When will it get cool, oh they don’t know?
Has far as they know we could get snow.
Snow would be better than all this heat
Cos its doing no good to my poor feet.
So come on heat please go away
Or just cool down for a week or a day
For just enough time to cool my toes
Then my shoes would fit, but oh my nose.

Summer, what’s a summer
We have not had one in years
All we get is rain and rain
Till its coming out our ears.
This year is no different
Well I lie we had one sunny day
But all the others have been rain on rain
Oh how I wish it would stop for a day.
When we haven’t got rain we got showers
When we haven’t got showers we got rain
It could drive us all round the bend
And send our brains right down the drain.
Marylou is in Kentucky getting fried
and I'm in Wales getting rusty
