Eternal Love

Until there is no morrow
All the breezes have been stilled
Until long past forever,
-All prophesies fulfilled.
.
Until the silver stars above
Fall from the ebon sky
And all the raging rivers
In sandy beds, lay dry
.
Until the mighty mountains
Have crumbled, into dust
Long past the Armageddon
And the judging of the just
.
When day and night co mingle
And life exists no more
The heart I gave you darling
Will be faithful, as before
.
Man may but live a short time
And earth itself succumb
But in that time and place
Where creation is struck dumb
.
A hundred thousand years from now
When all of life is still
An echo from my silent heart
Will say 'I love you, still'.
