Golden Wedding Anniversary

Potpourri of Poetry
by Whispermoon - Pam

If I could decipher the
language of dolphins...
and interpret the
sound of seagulls...

I could collect the moments to
trust and obey the promised vows
of honor to celebrate how sweet
was our honeymoon in the
lighthouse of love...

The rare obsession of body and soul
To recline in suspicious alcoves of
caves along the shore...

Miniscule moments worthy of
a lifetime of reverence and
tenderness tangled in vines of
honeysuckle wine...

You have held me captive
and through the years...
you have stamped my heart
with a gorgeous Ruby of desire...

words used:
decipher, interpret,
collect, trust, obey,
honor, sweet, lighthouse,
love, rare, recline,
suspicious, miniscule,
obsession, worthy

bonus words:
captive, stamped, ruby
