Loon Lake

When I was a child we lived near the beautiful waters Michigan Loon Lake
Each morning how pretty the colors shone on the waters at daybreak

Fishing and canoeing with my grandfather and grandmother with delight
Precious and cherished memories as we would watch the stars each night

As children we all would go to the waters and together watching a gentle loon
Listening to the crickets afer a summer rain in the delightful month of June

It was a quaint little town and delightful with aroma of my grandmas cake
She just loved to make scones and shortbread cookies, delicious and a delight
It is a delightful memory of my grandma's stories she always told us under the moon
