Three Candles In My Window
Three candles on my window sill
Three candles burning bright
For hope and life and liberty
They will burn throughout the night
The light of hope may it reach out
To the old, the sick, the poor
For I 'll share the little that I have
And trust in God for more
One burns for life ..for those who dream
And work to get things right
May God bless their endeavors
And send angels to help fight
One bright candle burns for liberty
For every mothers son
Gods green valleys for his travels
Peaceful rest when journeys done
May the wax from these small candles
Form for all of us the glue
To hold our life together
Till our earthly journeys through
And then from up in heaven
I pray we can look down
And see three little candles
Shining bright all over town
