Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Dreams

The dreams they come,
And I am on the run.
The dreams for me,
Are nightmares you see.

The dreams they come around,
and then they drag me down.
I scream, I cry, I shout,
I know what Hell is about.

You told me you cared,
And that you'd always be there.
You told me you put me high,
Higher than anyone up to the sky.

But that was just a dream,
And I have just bad memories.
Don't know what you saw in me,
That made you the monster that you came to be.

The dreams they come,
And I am on the run.
The dreams for me,
Are nightmares you see.

The dreams they come around,
and then they drag me down.
I scream, I cry, I shout,
I know what Hell is about.

It took a lot of time,
To get you off my mind.
Though the memory is still there,
I can no longer care.

There are still some days,
I get thrown into a haze.
But God has pulled me through,
And now I can forgive you.

Forgive you, forgive you,

The dreams they come,
And I am on the run.
The dreams for me,
Are nightmares you see.

The dreams they come around,
and then they drag me down.
I scream, I cry, I shout,
I know what Hell is about.
