Eclipse

Eclipse

Living with loss and sorrow
Can be as surreal as an eclipse
Of sun or moon.
Like the hesitation
In a faltering whisper,
Light will fade, then disappear,
As a shadow crosses,
As breath stills,
As time grips you in a memory
That you simply cannot erase.

required words: eclipse, falter, cross,
memory, still
