Patience, Daughter

Wait, my daughter, for Truth will have its way;
with every moment, God works out His plan.
A little hiccup? Satan likes to play;
heart should fret no more o'er ways of man.
That those you love should slip, you're not to blame;
is mother pig at fault if piglet's taken?
Patient wait. This adds not to your shame,
for help is near at hand ere piglet's bacon.
The Lord has not forgotten your pure heart,
goodness shines from you that all might see
of truth and His example you impart,
God has a plan to bless and prosper thee.
To intercede for others, always pray;
prevail upon the Lord to have His way.
